A Warm Welcome from Boy Scout Troop 248 in York, PA and thanks for stopping by our website! With this website we hope to extend to YOU, the pride and excitement that Scouting has brought into OUR lives.

Boy Scout Troop 248 meets every Monday evening from 6:30 PM TO 8:00 PM at Mt. Washington Church in York, PA. We are blessed to have Mt. Washington Church as our chartered organization.

Our troop is dedicated to instilling scout values and building character, and emphasizes leadership and self-reliance. We provide an active, vibrant scouting program that challenges our boys and young men to do their best.

Troop 248 always welcomes visitors, new members and volunteers to any of our meetings. Click on "Info About Us" to get more detailed information about our troop. Summer Camp Payment Due

It is not too late, if you wish to attend Summer Camp the fee is now $295 per scout.

CROSSOVER CEREMONY - 10 New Boy Scouts

The Cross Over Ceremony was held on Friday, April 20th, 6:30 PM at ZVAA. This is a very special ceremony in which the Webelos II scouts left the cub scout pack and cross over into boy scouts. This is a huge step in scouting! Thanks to those Scouts who came out and showed your support, Kyle, Jordan, Matthew, Nolan, your presents and behavior was to the caliber the new Scouts deserved. Thanks again. With this Crossover we had 10 new Boy Scouts join our ranks and 7 parents have joined our committee. Congrats and thanks to all.

U.S. Flag Collection

We are collecting old or torn U.S. Flags for a future flag burning ceremony. Flags of any size will be accepted and can be placed in the collection box in the lobby area of the Conewago Township building.

Recycle Ink & Copy Cartridges

Please deposit your used ink or copy cartridges (name brand or generic) in the box located in the lobby of the Conewago Township Building. We can receive rewards which will be used to purchase office supplies at our local retailer.
